Job Description:
The Project Manager I, Organizational Development-Engagement drives a variety of projects across the organization to ensure they are positively impacting the employee experience and driving engagement while meeting strategic business goals. Their main duties include driving engagement project activities across NextGen Healthcare, managing program and project timelines and budgets, while instilling urgency and importance with business leaders.
- Overseeing a group of related projects and ensuring they work together to achieve the organizations goals.
- Developing a plan to achieve engagement program objectives and coordinating the activities of multiple projects across the Organizational Development team.
- Regularly report out engagement data from various initiatives ensuring it's understood and recommending next steps based on data analysis.
- Manage all engagement survey data including annual engagement surveys, NPS surveys, new hire and exit surveys, etc.
- Managing and allocating resources across projects.
- Identifying and managing risks and issues, and taking corrective action.
- Ensuring effective communication and collaboration with project teams, senior management and other stakeholders.
- Managing the main program documentation including program playbooks, communication plans, and processes.
- Perform other duties that support the overall objective of the position.
Education Required:
- Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field.
- Or, any combination of education and experience which would provide the required qualifications for the position.
Experience Required:
- 5+ year of experience in program management preferably supporting training and development.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- Knowledge of: Organizational and Learning Development best practices, policies, and procedures; utilizing data to support program initiatives; WebEx; Microsoft Teams; Microsoft Office Suite.
- Skill in: Building effective teams, change management, planning and prioritization, strategic thinking, process and project management, speaking and presenting, communicating clearly, concisely, and effectively; establishing and maintaining effective working relationships.
- Ability to: Take complex parts of a structure or systems and break them into smaller pieces to understand how each one contributes to the whole. Understand and engage stakeholders in the goals and mission of the program, project, or other initiatives. Work in a fast-paced environment; stay organized, prioritize workload, multi-task, and meet deadlines. Thrive in a remote environment, be a self-starter, and work independently as well as part of a team.
