Charter's Washington, DC-based Government Affairs team is tasked with achieving the company's legislative and regulatory goals. They are seeking a bright, determined, and committed Project Manager to join the team to assist in driving Charter's policy priorities.

As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for managing, planning, monitoring, and reporting on key projects from conception through implementation. You will perform a variety of tasks, managing project details, data collection, reporting, and communication to successfully drive project efforts.

  • Planning, managing, and monitoring projects from concept through implementation for projects.
  • Managing day-to-day operational aspects of all assigned projects and gaining consensus from stakeholders to ensure successful implementation.
  • Establishing project management processes and methodologies to ensure assigned projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meeting high-quality standards and Leadership expectations using the appropriate tools.
  • Meeting with internal customers of an assigned project to provide status updates and reports and gathering project-related feedback.
  • Handling multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Tracking costs and performance, service levels, and other metrics required to ensure project goals and objectives are met.
  • Performing other duties as requested.


The Government Affairs team works closely with lawmakers, government officials and third-party groups to ensure that Charter's business interests and the interests of Charter's customers are well represented through government processes. As a member of this team, you will actively and consistently support all efforts to advance Charter's policy goals in front of Congress, the Administration and independent agencies.
WHAT YOU'LL BRING TO SPECTRUM
Required Qualifications

  • Ability to read, write and speak English
  • Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent work experience
  • Project management - 2-5 years, preferrably with ERP technologies.
  • Ability to prioritize and organize effectively and manage multiple projects and assignments
  • Ability to develop strong working relationships with peers and project members
  • Effective critical thinking skills
  • Proven ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Knowledge and ability to use computer and software applications including Microsoft Project Ability to analyze and interpret data


Preferred Qualifications

  • Project Management certification or successful completion of a recognized project management curriculum
