The position is responsible for the successful implementation of projects primarily focused on storage and transportation of Spent Nuclear Fuel within the US. Periodic travel is required (10-15%).

Principal duties include:

  • Project planning and execution within budget, schedule, and contract requirements
  • Project risk identification and mitigation planning
  • Compliance with contract in a cost-effective and technically sound manner
  • Interfacing directly with internal engineering, manufacturing, construction, and fuel loading teams.
  • Project reporting to internal and external stakeholders, as needed across including executive team
  • Facilitating design reviews design for compliance with engineering principles, contract requirements, and applicable standards
  • Approval of design changes, specifications, engineering analyses, and drawings
  • Preparation of proposals and commercial quotes of out-of-scope work as required

Required Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited, four-year university
  • 5 Years’ experience with relevant project management, project controls, or project engineering experience
  • Excellent customer service, communication, interpersonal, analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong time management and organizational skills
  • U.S. Citizenship or U.S. Permanent Resident Status

Preferred Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering from an accredited, four-year university
  • Scheduling experience using Primavera or Microsoft Project
  • Familiarity or experience within the nuclear power industry
