About this role:
- We are currently looking for our future Facility Project Manager to join our Capital Development Project team based at our gigafactory at Bourbourg.
- As such, you are responsible for the planning and implementation of construction, maintenance, modification, modernization, and protection of physical facilities and equipment (buildings, power, water, sewer, chemicals, piping, ventilation, lighting, space utilization, furniture, controls, etc.) used to produce high-quality products at Verkor.
Responsibilities:
- Develop conceptual designs for equipment and system expansion and/or upgrades
- Manage and implement all phases of new construction and renovation/upgrade projects, including planning, design, construction, and commissioning.
- Prepare written project documents which may include budgets, staffing, schedules, coordination and other pertinent project information
- Conduct technical project review and prepare written comments, analyses and recommendations
- Direct consulting engineers, contractors and maintenance personnel during the design and construction phase of facility systems
- Prepare designs, layouts, drawings, and bills of material for major maintenance, facility improvements, and other projects
- Interpret regulatory codes for compliance
Requirements:
- Engineering Diploma
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in industrial facilities in a related field (Battery, manufacturing, Chemical, Pharmaceutical)
- Pipeline project framing experience
