The mission of Amadeus’ Hotel IT team is to design and deliver high performance systems that can process tens of thousands of requests per second and return the highest level of accuracy in the fastest response time. Utilizing our proven ability to build and deploy mission critical software for the global travel industry, we are creating the next generation of technology solutions for the hospitality industry including: reservations and distribution, high-volume data acquisition from heterogeneous sources, sophisticated search engines, payment processing, hotel operations, business intelligence, and revenue management.

The Amadeus Hotel Platform is a SOA solution delivering a fully centralized reservation system for large hotel chains. New customer needs will require evolution of the platform.

Your role, as API Board Leader, is first to federate everyone in hospitality around our Governance. Then it is to drive the API Review process by being accountable and helping everyone around the process, the ways of working and the strategy. The mid term vision will have you lead the convergence of every division into this governance, adapt the processes to match everyone needs and follow the constant evolution of our platform. The long term vision will have you lead the API strategy definition and vision in front of the whole organization.

The API Board Leader is part of the System Integration (SYI) team because it is aligned with the team objectives which are to provide the best API documentation possible to the customer / partners. Your role will be entirely part of the SYI team, and helping serving its need. The whole team is here to support, help and guide you.

Common accountabilities :

  • You will work within System Integration (SYI) team within the Solution department. 

  • Lead the API Board of Hospitality

  • You will be in contact with every designer of the platfom and will be able to guide, help and influence them towards the good practices.

  • Manage transversal tools, and processes used by all Enterprise programs. 

  • Contributing to standardizing and improving ways of working to allow the unit to scale with the growing demand.

  • You will learn to know all APIs of Hospitality and will soon become an important part of everyone day to day life.
