The Opportunity:
We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Logistics Project Manager to oversee inventory management for a large-scale project based in Melbourne. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating all aspects of inventory management and leading a team of site labour to ensure equipment is staged appropriately for installation.

Tasks and Qualifications:
Key Responsibilities:
- Inventory Management: Coordinate and manage inventory for the project, ensuring accurate tracking, storage, and distribution of materials and equipment.
- Team Leadership: Manage and lead a team of site labor, providing direction, support, and training to ensure efficient and effective operations.
- Project Coordination: Work closely with project stakeholders to develop and implement logistics plans that align with project timelines and objectives.
- Equipment Staging: Ensure all equipment is staged appropriately for installation, coordinating with installation teams to meet project requirements.
- Quality Control: Monitor and maintain quality standards for inventory and equipment, addressing any issues promptly to minimize disruptions.
- Reporting: Prepare and present regular reports on inventory status, project progress, and team performance to senior management.
- Compliance: Ensure all logistics activities comply with company policies, safety regulations, and industry standards.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Proven experience in logistics management, preferably in a project-based environment.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in inventory management software and tools.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
