Our Enterprise Program Management office (EPMO) is seeking a Project Coordinator capable of leading all aspects of project administration for various clients. This role requires an analytical background, strong organizational skills, and the ability to lead multiple activities simultaneously. We are looking for a proactive problem solver to ensure project success.About You:
You demonstrate proficiency in managing tasks and organizing activities. Your financial competence provides insight to ensure projects stay within budget, and your talent for forming relationships fosters effective collaboration with team members. You are adaptable, resourceful, and you desire to learn and grow in the area of project management.
What you’ll do:
You play an important role in developing and updating project documentation, managing risk, co-creating project timelines, supporting the financial management of multiple projects, reviewing project status, coordinating with cross-functional teams to resolve issues, provide guidance on EPMO standards, foster a collaborative and positive environment and identify and implement process improvements. While embracing and championing EPMO governance policies and procedures you will deliver quality of work for each of the following project management domains.
Scope Management
- Assist in capturing project scope and acquiring approvals.
- Track adherence to project scope throughout the project lifecycle and track traceability of project requirements.
- Assist in coordinating and preparing project kickoff meetings and client engagements.
- Identify interdependencies among project tasks and support the project manager in coordinating solution delivery across practice and solution areas.
Resource & Communications Management
- Document project resource needs and cost estimates.
- Work with Project Manager to coordinate staffing and resource allocation while identifying and addressing any resource constraints.
- Identify and document all impacted internal and client team members in a project resource matrix.
- Develop engagement, communication, and training plans as needed.
Financial Management
- Track corporate realization and profitability targets.
- Support the tracking of project financial planning, forecasting, budget reconciliation, and invoicing activities ensuring accuracy.
Schedule Management
- Support the Project Manager in building and maintaining project timelines where applicable.
- Collaborate with Agile teams to ensure project results are completed on time.
Quality & Performance Management
- Notify Project leadership of any quality of delivery issues.
- Document lessons learned throughout the course of the project.
- Track and support communications on project health and progress to all impacted groups.
- Support the documentation and reporting of project status (budget, scope, schedule, resources, etc.).
Risk/Issue Management
- Document project risks and mitigation strategies.
- Maintain the risk / issue register ensuring timely mitigation and resolution of all risks and issues.
What you’ll need:
- A bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field such as business administration, project management, or related field
- Preferred certifications: Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) or Project Management Professional (PMP)
- 1-3 years of experience in project management or related fields (Internships applicable)
- Digital and content creation/management experience preferred.
- Preferred experience in Agile methodologies, systems and processes.
- Strong experience with PowerPoint and Excel.
- Jira, monday.com, and Workday experience preferred.
