Leidos is searching for a Project Coordinator to join a team supporting programs for DHS and TSA. In this role, candidate will support the Director of Operational Support to coordinate multiple program activities.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Collaboratively works with the Program Management Office (PMO), subcontractors and other team members, and the customer with focus on meeting contract requirements. Primary responsibility is supporting the contract’s background investigation and PIV card processes. There are over a dozen subcontractors and multiple agreements with other organizations within Leidos, resulting in over 1,000 staff supporting the program. Candidate must be able to learn quickly, easily adapt to ongoing program/process changes, and solve problems and issues that require an extensive knowledge of these functions.
Reviews, processes, and provides reporting for product orders under the contract consumables CLIN. Over 100 orders are received monthly, and each must be reviewed for reasonableness prior to be submitted to one or more of the five suppliers. Additional activities include tracking orders to completion, sending updates to requestors, preparing the monthly consumables deliverable, reviewing supplier invoices, and resolving any issues.
Maintains program schedules and coordinates activities and assignments with the team to accomplish objectives. Coordinates preparation and submission of, conducts quality reviews of, and ensures timely submission of contract deliverables and other reporting requirements.
Participates in weekly PMO meetings and completes/tracks identified follow-up actions. Participates in management discussions, contributes to decision-making, and supports process improvement initiatives.
Completes other assignments as identified, which may include (but are not limited to): acquiring a Corporate Purchasing-Card to make program-related purchases; creating and/or updating spreadsheets with complex Excel formulas for contract reporting, budgeting, billing, and/or forecasting purposes; managing program’s inventory of dedicated laptops and tablets for quarterly reporting; preparing BOEs for contract catastrophic repairs; creating Federal Express/UPS shipping labels; and/or supporting the Work Control team in creating and/or updating work tickets.
MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

BA degree and 2-4 years of prior relevant experience or Masters with less than 2 years of prior relevant experience

Candidate must be a US Citizen and able to obtain DHS or TSA vetting (active preferred)

Must have the ability to obtain a TSA specific Level 2 security clearance

Strong verbal and written communication skills to clearly and effectively communicate with team members, management, and customer

Excellent MS Excel skills

Strong MS Office skills including Word and PowerPoint

Minimum 70 wpm typing speed at 95% accuracy

Must have a positive attitude and maintain high standards for ethics and confidentiality

The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, able to multi-task, and complete tasks accurately and without direct supervision

Candidate must have the ability to adjust working schedule to meet program needs
ADDITIONAL DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Experience with MS Office keyboard shortcuts

Experience using SharePoint to manage schedules and documents

Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) a plus

Pay Range:Pay Range $50,700.00 - $91,650.00
