About the Production System Assistant position
We are looking for a skilled Production System Assistant who will be responsible for performing supportive duties in assisting in the delivery of 24/7 site application and technical support for related Production Systems in our Clarksville TN Plant. You should have advanced technical and organizational skills, a proven professional experience and a detailed knowledge of industry’s best practice processes.
System Assistant responsibilities are:
- Provide support for an integrated manufacturing execution platform, assure reliable 24/7 operation of integrated manufacturing system
- Installation, configuration, and support of MES application
- Ensures continual integrity and stability of MES system through strong governance and best practices
- Provide support for trouble shooting in HMWS system, assure reliable 24/7 operation of HMWS
- Provide support for trouble shooting in WQRS system, assure reliable 24/7 operation of WQRS
- Develop Standards and Guidelines
- Hardware/Software management, maintenance and trouble shooting
- Develops and maintains MES systems documentation
- Perform system configuration changes as well as hardware & software repairs and upgrades
- Manage ongoing support requests of MES, HMWS & WQRS
- Learn new technologies and other functions as required
- Work directly with cross functional teams on enhancements
- Assist with the evaluation of employee suggestions and implementation of approved ideas
- Manage expense budget monthly
- Any additional tasks assigned by the IT Management as needed
- Communicate with global headquarters regarding changes and specifications
- Perform other duties as assigned by management
System Assistant requirements are:
Education & Experience:
- (Required) Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
- (Preferred) Information Technology or Management Science major or advanced degree in a related field
- (Required) Excellent command of written and spoken English and Korean language
Physical Demands:
- Must be able to frequently move about the manufacturing plant campus, general office environments, production areas, and occasionally ascend/descend stairs
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time
- Must be able to operate a computer and other office productivity machinery
- Must be able to position self to file documents including the top and bottom drawers of file cabinets
- Must be able to occasionally move office equipment and supplies weighing up to 25 pounds
