Job Description

The Technical Opportunity Program (TOP) is a free two-week training program that equips students with the skills and knowledge needed for high-paying roles through technical training. You'll gain practical experience in electrical and mechanical skills through a mix of lectures, videos, and hands-on lab activities. Responsibilities:
- Exhibit safety conscious behavior for self and others.
- Use safe practices and principles while working around equipment and machinery.
- Assist with fueling/inspecting/servicing equipment in the field.
- Perform general housekeeping duties of equipment, shop, and shop yard.
- Utilize wash rack steam cleaner and water to clean equipment.
- Assist mechanics with inspecting and repairing equipment.
- Perform minor repairs under direction of lead mechanics.
- Perform preventive maintenance in a semi-supervised environment.
- Perform greasing of equipment unsupervised.
- Assist lead mechanics with tire mounting/dismounting on Harvest Equipment.
- Move equipment as requested.
- Maintains and is responsible for assigned tools, equipment, and supplies.
- Able to perform Assigned Tasks under limited supervision.
- Consistent Attendance & reliability.
- Flexible work availability including early starts, day & night shifts.
- Ability to Comprehend directions and safety communications verbal and written in Spanish and English (Bilingual)
- Consistent and accurate quality and quantity of completed work.
- Perform other related duties as assigned by shop management.
Responsabilidades:
- Exhibir un comportamiento consciente de la seguridad para uno mismo y los demás.

- Capaz de realizar tareas asignadas bajo supervisión limitada. Asistencia constante y confiabilidad.
- Disponibilidad de trabajo flexible que incluye inicios tempranos, turnos diurnos y nocturnos.

After completing the TOP program, Trainees will be considered for full-time positions at Wonderful Orchards.

Qualifications
- 18 years of age or older
- Bilingual in Spanish required
- Commitment to complete the 3-week training program
- Valid Driver’s License with clean motor vehicle report required.
