About The Position

The Program Supervisor, Energy Efficiency will lead the oversight of our initiatives for the Market Development Initiative within Ameren Illinois' Energy Efficiency Portfolio. This role will prioritize building strong relationships with community organizations and leaders to engage income qualified residents, businesses and communities, maximizing their access to energy efficiency resources. This position will collaborate with the market development team and will be responsible for strategic planning and project execution, ensuring we achieve energy efficiency goals. 

Key responsibilities include:

  • Oversee the performance of contractors responsible for the marketing development of energy efficiency and demand response programs 
  • Guides the development and assessment of project plans in collaboration with community organizations, taking a proactive role to ensure successful project execution.  
  • Designs and implements innovative, comprehensive project plans and strategies aligned with Ameren Illinois' Market Development Initiative. 
  • Collaborates with the team to formulate and assess strategies, set objectives, and define metrics and market dynamics essential for the initiative's success. 
  • Oversees the planning and organization of logistics for special events and workshops, including on-site management, which may require occasional weekend or evening work. 
  • Designs and implements innovative, comprehensive project plans and strategies aligned with the Market Development Initiative.  
  • Serves as the voice of the Market Development Initiative, embracing the opportunity to present to stakeholders, large audiences and industry peers.  
  • Manages the development, tracking, and updating of project management documents, timelines, and budgets to ensure timely and cost-effective task completion.  
  • Prepares regular status updates for managers and team members on project developments, upcoming events, and key metrics related to past outreach activities.  

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university required.  MBA preferred.  A minimum of five or more years of project management experience required. Experience in the energy industry preferred. May waive degree requirement for candidates with nine or more years of directly relevant experience, or for candidates with an Associate's degree with seven or more years of directly relevant experience.

In addition to the above qualifications, the successful candidate will demonstrate:

Working knowledge of MS Office Suite; demonstrated critical thinking skills and customer service approach; strong leadership skills; ability to influence others; demonstrated team building and organizational skills; demonstrated business acumen, decision making problem solving, analytical and computational skill; demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced environment; and the following Ameren competencies: Think Customer, Inspire and Engage, Foster Innovation, Drive Results, Champion Learning, Build Trust, and Be Strategic.

*Travel will be required within the service territory*
