Five9 is seeking an experienced and dynamic Beta Program Manager to become a pivotal member of our Product Operations department. This role focuses on managing and executing beta programs for our cutting-edge products, directly influencing customer success and satisfaction. The ideal candidate will possess a robust background in project management, new product introduction, and beta program management within an enterprise software context, with a specific emphasis on technical configuration and customer resource management. 

 

Key Responsibilities: 

 - Program Validation: Validate beta program parameters by aligning goals, ensuring organizational readiness.

- Technical Configuration: Working with Five9 developers, schedule & perform technical configuration of customer resources for launching beta programs to in-base customers. 

 - Leadership and Reporting: Conduct regular meetings with product leaders, core team members and senior leadership to report on beta program progress, metrics, and outcomes, ensuring transparent communication and alignment. 

- Communication: Work closely with Account Management and other departments to promote beta opportunities to Five9 customers, enhancing awareness and participation in new product trials. 

- Resource Alignment: Source requirements and drive alignment for implementation and engineering resources, including technical configurations, to deliver beta programs at scale, achieving customer expectations and program objectives. 

- Feedback Integration: Actively facilitate customer evaluation engagement including defining in partnership with product leaders, key success metrics, and diligently track and report customer feedback from beta trials, offering valuable insights to product teams for ongoing product enhancement and iteration. 

 

Key Qualifications: 

- 5-7 years of direct experience in Program Managements, New Product Introduction, Beta Program Management, or other direct customer-facing program management roles for Product or Engineering within an enterprise software setting. 

- Demonstrated expertise in technical configuration of customer resources, alongside excellent project management and customer communication skills. 

- A proven track record of managing beta programs effectively, from planning and technical setup to completion, including goal alignment, resource management, and feedback processing. 

- Strong analytical abilities with a proven track record for making data-driven decisions based on beta program insights and customer feedback. 

- Exceptional collaborative skills, capable of working across various teams to ensure the success of beta programs and the seamless introduction of new products. 

Educational Requirements: 

- A bachelor’s degree in business, Project Management, Engineering, or a related field. A master’s degree or relevant project management certification (e.g., PMP) is highly regarded.
