In partnership with the psychosocial team of psychologists, social workers, child life and creative arts therapists and others, this position is responsible for developing, planning, and coordinating psychosocial support programs and events available to pediatric cancer and blood disorder patients and team members within the MACC Fund Center. This position is responsible for oversight of program offerings, event planning, community engagement, and related grant coordination. Coordinates programming and events including small and large events of up to 250 people. Collaborates with Psychosocial team to create a healing, fun, supportive environment for patients, families and team members.
Education
Bachelor’s Degree required.
Experience
Three years of experience in event planning, community engagement, marketing/communications, or grant coordination.
Knowledge / Skills / Abilities

Computer experience with Microsoft Office, Excel, and PowerPoint, and Social Media platforms.

Ability to communicate effectively.

Excellent organizational skills. Strong skills in collaboration.

Customer Service skills and handling of confidential information.
Preferred Job Requirements
Experience
Healthcare and/or customer engagement experience preferred.
Infrequent travel may be required.
This is a part time position working approximately 30 hours/week. Must have the ability to flex schedule for some evening and/or weekend events. This would be on occasion and would have advance notice.
