Hybrid model 3 days per week in the office /2 days for a parent of a child up to 4 years

Join us as a Product Support Analyst!

Brown Brothers Harriman is currently recruiting a Product Support Analyst. The successful candidate will be one that is curious and open to continuous learning. The role is unique with an array of responsibilities including system configuration, system support/diagnosis, business analysts, monthly operations, and minor development tasks.

Some of your key responsibilities include:  

1. Analysis and Product Support

  • Update the fund accounting and/or pricing system based on qualified client inquires
  • Participate in analyzing and designing automated solutions to business problems
  • Assist in developing business requirements associated with expanded services or requirements for the accounting applications globally
  • Ensure system specifications meet the defined requirements set and priorities
  • Assist in developing and implementing project plans and in creating documentation related to unit and user testing, user implementation, and ongoing support
  • Assist in the coordination and execution of User Acceptance Testing and implementation
  • Participate in the training and support during roll-out of new products and enhancements

2. Client Service

  • Provide subject matter expertise to Product Managers or Client Service Relationship Managers relating to specific systems products as required

3. Control/ Risk Management

  • Proactively oversee operations service levels by arranging pulse checks, modifying procedures and discussing best practices

4. Teamwork

  • Seek out and participate in team and interdepartmental projects

Desired Qualifications:

  • BS/BA degree, and/or equivalent work experience
  • 2 to 3 years Fund Accounting experience preferred
  • 0 to 2 years prior business analyst experience preferred    
  • 3 to 5 years related experience in the financial services industry
  • Prior exposure to financial service systems projects and support
  • Working knowledge of BBH OMEGA/STAR
  • Understanding of custody and fund accounting operations; knowledge of fund administration applications is a plus
  • Written and verbal communication skills
  • Aptitude for understanding global business considerations when implementing new business systems
  • Working knowledge of Excel and/or Access
  • Ability to work with business users and systems personnel in a team environment
  • Knowledge and experience preparing and executing test scripts are preferred
  • Hands-on experience with software spreadsheets, report writer packages, database applications, programming, and establishing quality assurance procedures a plus
