About the Role:
This is a key role within the software development team in which they will serve as Product Owner of a delivery squad. Partnering directly with a Technology/Delivery Lead, the Product Owner will ensure the delivery squad is setup for success while working on the right priority at the right time.
What You'll Do:
- Collaborate with Rhapsody's Product Management team to establish the priorities of the delivery squad
- Create Epics and User Stories from agreed upong high-level requirements
- Responsible for Definition of Ready to include user story creation, acceptance criteria, and end delivery coordination
- Creating user-stories that meet INVEST criteria (Independent, Negotiable, Valuable, Estimate-able, Small, and Testable)
- Partner with Tech/Delivery Lead to ensure balanced user story assignments across the delivery squads
- Participate in delivery ceremonies (e.g., Stand-ups, planning, retrospectives, etc.)
- Report status of ongoing development and delivery to stakeholders beyond delivery squad (e.g., Product Management leadership, Operations, Support, etc.)
This job requires the candidate do work for a European Shift from Monday to Friday
Qualifications
What You'll Need to Have to Succeed:
- Experience as Product Owner or similar role in product management
- Relevant education or experience equivalent in Computer Science, Product Management, or a releated field
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Desired Skills:
- Certified Scum Product Owner (CSPO) or equivalent
- Technology background with knowledge of software development and/or web technologies
- Experience closely collaborating with software engineering teams and other technology departments
