What you’ll achieve

As a Product Operations Principal Engineer, you will be responsible for providing coordination of operational activities associated with the introduction of client peripherals products worldwide. Coordinates all operational activities associated with the introduction of the new product. Responsible for ensuring stable, controlled migration of hardware, software and networking changes into the production environment. Ensures consistency between production and test environments. Creates/maintains build processes, coordinates product builds for release into production, prioritizes failures and works with development to resolve problems. Sets up configuration specifications for releases.

  • Represents Worldwide Operations, participate in product core team to ensure factory operation continuously.

  • Utilizes metrics to improve new production, introduction process, and product quality, both at launch and throughout the program's life cycle.

  • Ensures Operations achieve Ready to Ship Release and transition into the production/sustaining phase.

  • Drives continuous improvement in product manufacturability and flexibility, and operations cycle time and quality.

  • Enables supply chain node to onboard suppliers, products, and services to ensure business continuity and build and fulfill products from global supply chain node.

Essential Requirements

  • 8+ years of relevant experience and Bachelor Degree education and work experience, with management experience on PCBA or final assembly etc.

  • Works on complex issues where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors. Exercises judgment in selecting methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria for obtaining results. Internal and external contacts often pertain to company plans and objectives.

  • Having wide-ranging experience, uses professional concepts and company objectives to resolve complex issues in creative and effective ways. Some barriers to entry exist at this level (i.e., dept/peer review).

  • Works on issues where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth knowledge of organizational objectives, as well as an understanding of company protocol

Desirable Requirements

  • Project management reviews objectives to determine success of operation

  • Involved in developing, modifying, and executing company policies that affect immediate operations(s) and may also have company-wide effect
