Product Marketing Specialist

Summary of the role:

Design and define the full business/product value proposition, including content management, pricing, customer experience & insights, go-to-market strategies, as well as messaging and benefits of the segment product/solutions for internal and external promotion to support each release.

In this role you will:

  • Understand market and customers to build value propositions.

  • Describe market dynamics and competitive environment (e.g., trends, regulations, competitors’ moves) and define potential implications for product strategy.

  • Build value propositions and associated value calculators.

  • Suggest potential approaches to go-to-market, assess market risks and market viability.

  • Describe market needs to Product Managers (e.g., solution, feature, value proposition, messaging, channels).

Support development of product strategy:

  • Provide input for the overall strategy and vision: high-level requirements, initial as-is to-be journey, early product features, business canvas, partner considerations.

  • Contribute to the strategic pricing of products, billing model checks, and business case, collaborating with Product Managers.

Customer discovery:

  • Responsible for creating and maintaining user personas and gathering feedback from customers.

  • Highlight implications of changes in the product roadmap for customer value proposition/messaging, as well as implications for local market needs.

  • Support the Product Manager with customer product feedback, full as-is/to-be journey, agreed feature list, and pilot definition among others.

Measure and scale:

  • Create external-facing product features and use case descriptions.

  • Create market-facing messaging, consistent with value proposition and go-to-market strategy.

  • Drive communications and upskilling programs for the sales organization.

About the ideal candidate:

  • Relevant experience in Product Management, Portfolio Management, Strategy, or Strategic Marketing roles, preferably in the IT industry.

  • Effective communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.

  • Excellent analytical skills.

  • Ability to present complex content in an accessible and clear way.

  • Goal-oriented and collaborative problem-solving mindset.

  • Knowledge and execution of the entire Product Marketing process.

  • Adaptable and able to thrive in a dynamic and evolving environment.

  • Proficient in English verbal and written communication.

  • Understanding of Airline and/or Airport business is beneficial.

Business Environment

Within the AAO business line (Airport and Airline Operations), the Service Recovery Product Marketing Manager (PMM) will support the growing business of AAO and the development of the Service Recovery product. The Service Recovery PMM will report to the Product Marketing Lead, collaborate daily with the Service Recovery Core team (including Product Management, Engineering, Finance, etc.), and conduct Product Marketing activities throughout the Product Life Cycle (PLC) process.
