About the role


We’re on the lookout for an experienced Product Marketing Manager to lead the product marketing strategy, positioning, and execution for the Halter product. A strategic thinker and hands-on person, you’re as comfortable speaking with customers and understanding what makes them tick, as you are investigating data, refining a value proposition, writing marketing copy, and coordinating complex campaigns. This is a rare opportunity to define the future of one of the world’s most innovative agritech products and brands.

What your day could look like

  • Lead and deliver an ongoing product marketing strategy to attract new customers and retain existing ones.
  • Work closely with Halter’s GTM teams to refine the value proposition both in New Zealand and abroad.
  • Understand Halter’s customers deeply, translating their feedback into product marketing that is clear, concise, and value-led. 
  • Develop key product marketing personas that help align our creative efforts and product positioning.
  • Identify opportunities to grow product adoption and retention. Using data and in-person feedback to drive marketing innovation.
  • Deliver detailed reporting on Halter’s marketing activity and its effectiveness, with actionable insights for the business
  • Collaborate with our team on market research, defining strategies that ensure our product marketing is best-in-class
  • Work with stakeholders to develop and implement tailored marketing strategies, messaging, and content for varying audiences.
  • Lead the development and optimisation of all communications with an emphasis on building an always-on A/B testing plan.
  • Empower our business development teams with best-practice playbooks and assets designed to improve conversion rates. 

Who are we looking for

  • Minimum 5+ years of product marketing experience
  • Proven track record of scaling product marketing efforts and delivering results
  • Ideally, you have worked for a company with a subscription or recurring revenue-based business model.
  • B2B or enterprise-level marketing experience is not essential but would be beneficial. 
  • Proven experience managing stakeholders across fast-paced, start-up or scale-up environments. 
  • A self-starter, you thrive in ambiguity. 
  • An analytical mind for measuring results and providing actionable insights and plans
  • Demonstrated experience to adapt, lead, and support others in a fast-paced environment
  • A clear understanding of UX/CX principals 
  • Knowledge and understanding of the agricultural space is a plus
