As the Product Marketing Director, you will be responsible for a broad focus on supporting various strategic areas and optimization, with a particular emphasis on integrating AI-focused initiatives across the business. This includes, but is not limited to, market intelligence, cross-functional orchestration, client-centered marketing efforts, and customer analysis to inform strategic priorities. Daily, as the Product Marketing Director, you will play a critical role in translating market gaps and customer pain points into compelling stories that are differentiated and resonate with our diverse buyer personas.
To thrive in this role, you will become a key member of the product marketing team, partnering across product marketers and cross-functional teams to ensure consistent messaging and strategic alignment across all business lines, with a strong focus on AI capabilities and innovations. In addition, the role requires a flexible mindset, as you must be prepared to pivot according to business demands. Whether working vertically within a specific business line(s) or horizontally across product marketing efforts, the goal is to maintain strategic alignment and messaging consistency.
Here’s what you will experience as the Product Marketing Director:
- Messaging and positioning: serve as a great storyteller, owning and evolving how our AI capabilities are described – balancing technical accuracy with market-ready storytelling. Must work with each product marketer to ensure consistent and accurate description/story for each business line and product, and distill complex ideas and capabilities into clear, differentiated, and compelling messages in the form of sales presentations, case studies, sales enablement, and other internal and external efforts
- Customer-facing/Growth team enablement: continuous update on AI progress across all business lines, building content and training that demystifies AI and enables teams to speak about our AI capabilities confidently and accurately
- Market intelligence: Be an expert on the AI competitive landscape and contribute to competitive intel program, including win/loss analysis, competitor insights, battlecard enablement, etc., and integrate findings into GTM approach. Includes bi-weekly Joe/board update and report out to R37, helping guide areas of differentiation that are important
- Cross-functional orchestration: act as connective tissue across multiple stakeholders, helping to translate and execute strategic priorities, thought leadership, RFP responses, etc.
- AI use-case tracking: need for all business lines and working/coordinating with AI governance committee on before, during, and after AI deployment
- GTM launches: serve as the central point of accountability, ensuring that product launches are well-coordinated, impactful, and aligned to business goals (i.e., PHY launch). Includes, but not limited to identification and coordination of all launch activities and activating product value to customers and internal teams alike.
- Drive strategic initiatives: lead high-impact, cross-functional initiatives that support growth priorities and extend beyond day-to-day GTM work (customer product marketing, KLAS, Epic).
- Proactive client communication and delight: develop materials and communication strategies to address client inquiries about AI capabilities and activate efforts to delight clients with R1 innovations
- Client storytelling and case studies: Develop and articulate compelling AI and client stories and case studies, ensuring these narratives effectively highlight our value proposition and resonate with target audiences.
Required Qualifications:
- 8+ years of product marketing experience with at least 3 years of experience in revenue cycle – preference in healthcare consulting or AI experience.
- AI expertise: deep curiosity and experience about AI, translating complex ideas and messaging for multiple audiences
- Versatile problem solver: strategic thinker who can navigate ambiguity and bring structure
- Flexible, growth mindset: ability to evolve and meet the needs of the business
- Demonstrated work history in-market that showcases excellence at both high-level product marketing and GTM strategy & execution as well as influence of others to achieve a common goal.
- Excellent cross-functional collaboration and communication skills, org savvy, with demonstrated experience collaborating working from executives to operators.
- Must be a strong public speaker, comfortable in front of large, senior groups, and a solid writer.
- Proficient in productivity applications such as OpenAI and Microsoft Office.
- Comfortable using collaboration and CRM tools such as Salesforce.
- Exceptional ROI-tracking skills, able to prove what is –or isn’t—working.
For this US-based position, the base pay range is $112,151.00 - $167,640.70 per year . Individual pay is determined by role, level, location, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.This job is eligible to participate in our annual bonus plan at a target of 20.00%
