The Job

The Product Manager plays a crucial role in defining customer and business requirements, contributing innovative solutions, and driving efficient decision-making across cross-functional teams. This role requires a strong ability to identify product improvements, balance stakeholder needs, inspire and motivate teams, and write comprehensive requirements for effective solution development.

What You’ll Do

Problem Definition:

  • Define customer and business requirements to enable cross-functional teams to develop solutions efficiently.

  • Write complete, prioritised, and traceable requirements with testable success metrics.

Prioritisation:

  • Contribute compelling ideas and creative options for effective solution development.

  • Identify important, unsolved customer problems and constraints, and recommend clear, supported solutions.

Stakeholder Management:

  • Specify stakeholders and define clear roles for decision-making.

  • Balance the needs of customers, the company, and partners.

Team Leadership:

  • Inspire, energise, and motivate cross-functional teams to deliver their best work.

  • Provide clear objectives to help teams prioritise work and push back on low-impact tasks.

Continuous Improvement:

  • Identify areas for process improvements that can make a material business impact.

  • Filter opportunities to focus on the critical few and identify root causes of problems.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

  • Collaborate effectively with engineering, marketing, sales, and customer support teams.

  • Present effectively to groups and communicate sound, data-based decisions.

Professional Development:

  • Engage in ongoing professional development opportunities to stay current with industry trends and technologies.
