What You'll Bring:
- Lead and grow the Universal Order Connect product line in the area of carrier-carrier and enterprise-carrier communication for broadband/network connectivity
- Understand market trends and incorporate them in the Product roadmap
- Define customer requirements and pain points, solutioning and provide detailed requirements to Engineering team
- Responsible for overall Product success for both external and internal customers
- Participate and contribute where applicable in industry standards organization
- Must have excellent relationship and communication skills including ability to develop and nurture relationships with key individuals of Transunion and customers.
- Ability to communicate your vision, work in an Agile team, use your analytical skills to provide alternative solutions to technical problems
We'd love to see:
- Experience with various network connectivity and Type 2 ordering methodologies like Access Service Requests (ASR), Broadband, MEF, TMF, Local Service Request (LSR)
- Hands on experience in Type 2 order provisioning, fallout management and circuit inventory for Broadband, Ethernet, Access E-Line, TDM, Frame relay and other order types
- Familiarity with the complete Type 2 order management process from Address validation, Service Availability, Quoting, Ordering, Design Layout, Circuit Inventory and Trouble Ticketing
- Knowledge of Telecom OSS ordering processes for Broadband, MPLS, Ethernet, Transport and Trunking circuits etc
- Technical knowledge in Telecom Network topics: Telecom Network Design, OSI Layers, Ethernet, IP, MPLS, HDLC, PPP, MPLS, CDP, LLDP, IPV4, OSPF, ATM, Frame Relay networking, routers and Layer 2 switches
- Should be proficient with technologies such as JSON, REST, UOM, UML, XML, XSLT, Oracle etc
- Should be excellent in verbal, written, presentation, analytical and organizational skills.
- More than 5 years in Product Management, business analysis or related field within the Telecom Industry
Impact You'll Make:
- In the first 90 days – Understand the UOC architecture; get plugged into the ongoing deliverables and manage day to day responsibilities.
- Beyond 90 days - effectively advocate for UOC roadmap for Broadband and best practices across customers, delivery teams, and senior management. Review and manage solutions presented by development teams and enhance product based on feedback from customers, deployment managers and operations/service delivery teams
- TransUnion’s UOC is a foundational application development platform across all Type 2 network connectivity order types. UOC is a revolutionary product creating disruption in the market by bringing simplification in order creation and efficiency in order management. We build high performance applications which cater to US as well as abroad. This role will serve defining and delivering a best-in-class product for inter carrier network connectivity.
This is a remote position which may require occasional in-person attendance at work-related events at the discretion of management.
