Job Description

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE:
● Develop appropriate product portfolio strategy for your markets and ensure alignment with regional & global
product strategy.
● Build and manage the product portfolio along with required service programs. Rationalize/simplify portfolio
working closely with the Sales, R&D, procurement, Supply Chain and Operations teams where appropriate.
● Gather market insights through sales & business development teams and convert them into new portfolio
introductions. Continuously work on the portfolio to ensure it is relevant to the market needs by launching new
products and eliminating/ modifying the existing ones.
● Drive Innovation and Sustainability as key agenda for the product portfolio, in line with regional and global
strategy.
● Have a strong understanding of product costing and drive cost improvement in enhancing competitive
positioning in the marketplace.
● Map out key competitors’ product portfolio, conduct research & benchmarking studies to develop a deep
understanding of their market position.
● Develop a compelling value proposition for the products and work closely with the Marcom team to develop
Commercial Messaging packages including Collaterals, Selling Tools, Product Services Guide & Standardized
Product Data Sheets for local products & ensure alignment with regional guidelines.
● Manage product mix at the country level to maximize profitability.
● Own the training of local sales & business development teams for the Regional Initiatives & Preferred Product
Portfolio.
● Manage & Mentor team members.

Qualifications

WHAT WE WILL BE LOOKING FOR IN YOU:
● Bachelor’s degree in Science or Marketing or related disciplines. Post graduate in marketing preferred.
● 10 years + of experience in Product Management & Portfolio Management.
● Experience in working with regional and global teams spread across different geographies.
● Competency and track record of leading cross functional and cross geography teams to lead and deliver on
complex projects.
● Experience in product development and commercialization processes and working with R&D teams.
● Strong teamwork and relationship building skills.
● Excellent written, verbal communication and presentation skills.
● Strong analytical skills combined with financial acumen.
● Strong teamwork and relationship building skills.
● Advanced Excel Skills.
