PayPay, a fintech company providing a service enjoyed by over 60 million users (as of Oct 2023) merely 5 years since its launch in 2018 in Japan. Why India ?
To build our Payment servises, we allied with Paytm, the biggest payment service company in India. Based on their customer-first technologies,we created and expanded the smartphone payment service in Japan. Therefore, we have decided to establish a development base in India, as we have been developing our services under the influence of India, a technological powerhouse from the beginning. We create user-first services with development members in Japan and Canada while pursuing the latest technology. That is what we will do here.

Job Description
PayPay India is looking for a Senior Product Manager to work on our payment system to deliver the best payment experience for our customers.
Main Responsibilities :
- Manage fintech products and projects in PayPay and enhance the user experience
- Create a roadmap for the enhancements / addition to the product portfolio based on extensive data crunching and clearly defined KPIs and objectives
- Responsible for delivering critical projects with crucial timelines and significant business impact.
- Managing and executing decisions about the UI/UX designs of the project.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders across functions to understand the user problem and their needs and formulate achievable requirements for development teams.
- Develop a deep understanding of customer experience, identify and fill product gaps and generate new ideas that grow market share, improve customer experience and drive growth.
- Person would be willing to write technical PRD’s and work with engineering team and design team and execute the product roadmap
- Define and prioritize product challenges and opportunities leading to the product growth
Qualifications :
- At Least 5 years of Product Management or an equivalent role, 7+ years of experience preferred
- Proficiency in English language is needed
- Strong understanding of data analysis using SQL, analytical tools is needed
- Strong understanding of statistical techniques is needed
- Understanding of how APIs, technical architectures work is needed
Preferred Qualifications :
- Ability to break down any given technical or business problem into deliverables while keeping the stakeholders and business impact in mind.
- Track record of working in a very fast paced environment or a startup or working on user facing products
- Have an extreme bias towards action basically, you need to have the Get Things Done attitude.
- Possess excellent oral, written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
- Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to negotiate product specifications and scopes with business partners
- Strong data-driven mindset, can make decisions based on data and come up with new product initiatives based on data
- Has user-growth-related product experience is a plus
