About the RoleIn this role, you will deliver a highly technical, future-thinking design system to integrate with our content management system. As a part of the Design Systems team at Gap Inc. you will work with our user experience team, brand partners and engineering teams on a new system of components utilizing Figma API. You will define strategy to drive adoption of the design system.What You'll Do

Deliver a product vision and align stakeholders fulfilling the needs of the business and the larger goals of the design system team

Scrum leader and project management for design engineers, leading rituals and delivering on inter-team dependencies

Collaboration with UX to deliver pixel-perfect design system assets

Help a technical writer author webpages based on critical user adoption metrics

Act as a key point of collaboration between brand partners, UX, engineering and other product management teams to deliver an extensible design system

Auditing new and existing systems for product innovation

Stakeholder interview and survey production to drive adoption
Who You Are
-
At least 3 years of Product Management for web-based applications or relevant design systems experience
-
Solid technical background with an understanding of web components and design systems
-
Ability to prioritize work judiciously in quickly changing environments with lots of stakeholders

Experience in Agile Scrum methodologies, writing stories and leading engineering teams in Engineering Sprints or Kanban
Nice to Have

Experience with design systems, Figma, zeroheight and/or storybook

Familiarity with React components, Tailwind CSS, Figma API or other related tools

Experience with Jira, Jira Plan and Confluence

Experience with authorable content, Ampliance or other ecommerce CMS implementations

Experience with WCAG standards implementation

Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent experience) in Computer Science, Business or Communication
