  • Develop and execute a comprehensive product vision for e-commerce and digital shelf analytics, aligning with the overarching business objectives and goals of the LEGO brand.
  • Lead product discovery initiatives with cross-functional teams to develop, test, and refine new ideas that enhance our value proposition.
  • Lead the product in collaboration with design and engineering departments, ensuring the team is motivated and focused on maximizing their output.
  • Identify and leverage business opportunities using data insights. Engage with external e-commerce specialists and software providers to integrate external perspectives and expertise when necessary.
  • Establish and maintain a data intelligence capability for the LEGO Group that empowers sales and marketing colleagues, drives growth through e-commerce and content analytics, fosters real-time data generation within the sales and marketing tech stack, and encourages data-driven decision making across channels.
  • Translate the product strategy into a comprehensive product roadmap, generating innovative ideas that enhance market share, drive commercial and business value, and improve the overall customer experience.
  • Stay ahead of industry trends and emerging technologies to maintain our competitive edge in e-commerce and digital shelf analytics.
  • Ensure clear communication about priorities, developments, and changes to all stakeholders across the business, promoting transparency and understanding.

In this role you will be responsible for setting the product vision and strategy for e-commerce and digital shelf analytics, defining objectives and key results for the product team. Your goal will be to develop a deep understanding of the needs of our customers and channels and collaborate with product teams and stakeholders to drive data-driven e-commerce sales and activation.

Your work will play a pivotal role in enabling our sales and marketing colleagues to engage more effectively with our customers and shoppers.

This role sits in the Partner Product Management team within Global Commercial Development (GCD), which is part of our Markets & Channels organization. This role reports to the Director, GCD Seamless Partner Experience.

Do you have what it takes?

Preferred candidates will have a background in business administration, economics, commercial and retail management, information technology, or a related field. Experience in consumer-packaged goods, e-commerce, and/or digital content marketing is highly valued. Moreover, proven track record working with several e-commerce disciplines such as commercial performance, digital merchandising, platform marketing and SEO optimization; and experience with agile development methodologies, storytelling, and evangelism.

In addition, the successful candidate will demonstrate:

  • Analytical and strong data management skills, along with a solid understanding of IT from a business side - e.g. working with digital shelf analytics, e-commerce, and SaaS solutions.
  • A tech savvy person that understands what happens behind the scenes, when enabling platforms and shops to win in retail.
  • A strong communicator with the ability to articulate the problem and proposed solution, comfortable speaking with business stakeholders.
  • Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams from technology, design, analytics, and business.
  • Strong problem solver approach to manage and lead the team to push for the solution and progress.
  • Proficiency with English language skills, both written and oral.

It will be an advantage to showcase:

  • Experience working with external e-commerce customers, tools, or agencies. E.g. Amazon Brand Analytics and Digital Shelf Analytics SaaS providers like CommerceIQ, Salsify and Profitero.
  • Commercial mindset and experience – be able to understand and speak the language of sales and marketing people and have a solid knowledge of several sales and marketing disciplines like e-merchandising, marketing, key account management, customer service, and sales operation.
  • Experience with engaging cross functional teams through the full product life cycle.
  • Effective leadership of the team; maintaining a continuous learning environment, setting clear objectives to ensure there is clarity on what needs to be achieved for any given work.
  • Supportive coaching style, proactively encouraging personal and professional development and achievement across the product team.
