We are seeking a highly skilled Product Digital Assets Specialist to manage and maintain our digital asset library, ensuring the accuracy, quality, and organization of product images and related digital assets. The ideal candidate will possess strong skills in product photography, image editing with Adobe Photoshop, and have a comprehensive understanding of digital
asset management within a Product Information Management (PIM) system. This role requires a detail-oriented individual who can balance creativity with organizational expertise to enhance the visual representation of our products across digital platforms.
Salary $65K

Essential Functions/Job Responsibilities:

Product Photography: Capture high-quality product images that meet brand standards, including setting up lighting, positioning, and post-editing as necessary.

Image Editing: Utilize Adobe Photoshop to edit, retouch, and enhance product images, ensuring they meet our quality standards and specifications.

Digital Asset Management (DAM): Manage and organize digital assets, including photos, videos, and other product-related content, in a PIM or DAM system. PIM System Management: Upload and maintain all digital assets within the Product Information Management (PIM) system, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and alignment with product data and descriptions.

Metadata Tagging: Add accurate and descriptive metadata to digital assets to facilitate easy search and retrieval across teams.

Collaboration with Cross-Functional Teams: Work closely with marketing, e-commerce, and product teams to understand asset requirements and ensure timely availability of all necessary digital assets.

Quality Control: Conduct regular audits of digital assets to ensure quality, accuracy, and that all assets meet the current brand guidelines.

Process Improvement: Identify and implement best practices for the management, organization, and distribution of digital assets, continuously seeking ways to improve efficiency and effectiveness.

Education and/or Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in Digital Media, Photography, Graphic Design, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

3+ years of experience in product photography, digital asset management, or a similar role.

Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop for advanced image editing and retouching. Experience with PIM systems and/or DAM platforms for asset organization and management.

Knowledge of photography equipment and lighting techniques for professional product photography.

Familiarity with metadata tagging and organizational standards for digital asset management.

Detail-oriented, organized, strong communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.

Familiarity with e-commerce platforms and the requirements for product images.
