Position Summary

The Procurement Analyst will play a key role in supporting EarnIn’s growing procurement function. This role is responsible for overseeing purchasing activity, tracking expenses against purchase orders, managing vendor communications, and ensuring seamless procurement operations. The Specialist will also monitor expiring contracts and support the procurement team in vendor management and third-party risk management (TPRM) processes.

This position will ideally be hybrid from our Mexico City office as part of our expanding site, though a remote arrangement is possible. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location.

What You’ll Do:

Purchasing & Expense Tracking

  • Create and issue purchase orders (POs) in alignment with company policies.
  • Maintain expense tracking against POs and ensure accurate reporting.
  • Own the receipts and receiving process, compiling expense tracking data for month-end close (e.g., PO Received Not Invoiced report issuance).
  • Provide real-time expense tracking on active contracts to Finance.
  • Manage vendor communications regarding purchasing inquiries, ensuring timely responses.

Contract & Vendor Management

  • Track expiring contracts and proactively notify business owners.
  • Gather baseline information on vendor engagements and renewals, escalating to Procurement management for strategic planning.
  • Support the Third-Party Risk Management (TPRM) process by expediting purchase orders and vendor assessments.
  • Oversee vendor onboarding and offboarding to ensure compliance with company policies.
  • Maintain and update the vendor catalog to support strategic vendor relationships.

Process Improvement & Compliance

  • Assist in identifying opportunities for process improvements within procurement workflows.
  • Ensure adherence to procurement policies and best practices.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Finance, Legal, and other departments to streamline purchasing processes.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Supply Chain, or a related field preferred.
  • Experience: 2+ years of procurement, purchasing, or supply chain experience, preferably in a fast-paced, high-growth company.
  • Familiarity with procurement systems (e.g., NetSuite, Coupa, SAP, or similar ERP tools).
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for vendor and internal stakeholder interactions.
  • Understanding of financial tracking related to procurement, including purchase orders and expense management.
