About the opportunity
N26’s Procurement team seeks a supply chain professional in sourcing/procurement to support the request life cycle for non-IT procurement-related initiatives.
You'll work on the Indirects Sourcing Team. This team helps with all Sourcing projects in Marketing, Real Estate, and Workplace Services.
The daily tasks include managing sourcing projects and contract negotiations, making sure processes and contracts are followed. Lead sourcing projects with the internal stakeholders, build and keep a good relationship with the main external partners while getting the best value for N26, and help with the daily sourcing processes as needed.

In this role, you will

Assist in the development of global strategic sourcing opportunities through competitive bidding, proof-of-concept, demand management, supplier consolidation, and process reengineering

Support the Category Manager(s) in making sure important internal stakeholders understand the value of working with Procurement. This includes supporting best-in-class strategic sourcing principles and practices.

Support a robust pipeline of sourcing projects in parallel with broader strategic projects.

Collaborate with stakeholders across N26, as a true business partner, to achieve the following:

Lead sourcing events and RFXs, where appropriate
-
Negotiate and put in place supplier agreements/contracts that meet the business needs of all stakeholders, as well as the regulatory requirements, and build long-term relationships with suppliers; working closely with the category leaders, the risk and legal teams.

Evaluate supplier core competencies and competitive positioning using industry cost models

Support the category strategy creation for the assigned category

Lead and/or support the baselining of your categories information (contracts, supplier portfolio, spend and category context) to build a documentation base that will set up your future work for success

Develop the best possible supply base for N26

Contribute to the review of the Sourcing policies and procedures

Contribute to the healthy and fun culture within the Procurement Team

Learn to be an expert in our Procurement tools and processes

What you will bring along
-
3+ years of Procurement/Sourcing experience, ideally from a financial services, insurance or technology organization.

Strong background in running end-to-end sourcing projects, including contract negotiations, specific knowledge managing regulatory requirements counted as plus
-
Solid knowledge across indirect categories
-
The ability to think and act strategically with clearly defined business objectives in mind and can-do mindset with a strong hands-on approach

Agile, open and takes a dynamic approach to work

Clear understanding and experience in working according to best-in-class procurement processes

A commercial mindset, good negotiation skills

Relevant experience in drafting and redlining contracts.

Data is your friend! Sufficient data analysis and financial modelling skills so as to build multiple negotiation scenarios, total cost of ownership models, consumption models, and demand forecasts, etc.

Good skills in project and time management

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with fluency in English. Fluency in German considered as strong plus

Experience in cross-functional stakeholder management and relationship building

Familiarity with P2P/sourcing systems
