What You Will Do
You will operate a line/machine/palletiser or support operating a production line for hygiene products, manufacturing products according to fixed specifications and Standard Operating Procedures. As a member of the shift team (on a 12 hour shift pattern - 6 months 4 on 4 off and 6 months 4 on 6 off), you are responsible for the machine's performance.
Main Tasks:
- Work within Essity safety standards with responsibility for others too
- Run the machine, monitor the process, and adjust as needed according to Essity Continuous Improvement Systems. Consult with Team Leader or skilled operators if required
- Order and prepare raw materials/products for palletising and install them on the machine according to Standard Operating Procedures
- Maintain communication with previous and next shifts and others involved in running the machine
- Maintain optimal housekeeping
- Support others in operating activities
- Ensure product quality by regular checks against specifications, rejecting or blocking if necessary
- Complete all required documentation and data files during production
- Understand the operation, perform operational tasks/jobs
