Key Responsibilities:

• Process Optimization:
  Analyze and optimize existing processes by identifying bottlenecks, improving process flow, and reducing waste.

• Troubleshooting and Problem Solving:
  Identify process issues and develop solutions to resolve technical and operational problems.

• Data Analysis and Reporting:
  Collect and analyze process data to evaluate the performance of systems. Use tools like statistical process control (SPC), Six Sigma, or other techniques to monitor key process indicators (KPIs).

• Collaboration:
  Work closely with other departments (e.g., R&D, quality control, production, and maintenance) to ensure seamless implementation of process improvements.

• Safety and Compliance:
  Ensure that all processes comply with environmental, health, and safety standards. Conduct risk assessments and implement necessary corrective actions.

• Cost Management:
  Identify cost-reduction opportunities through process improvements, waste reduction, and efficient use of resources.

• Documentation and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs):
  Develop and maintain detailed documentation, SOPs, and technical specifications for processes.

• Project Management:
  Lead or participate in process improvement projects, from planning and budgeting to execution and evaluation.

Qualifications:

• Education:
  Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial or a related field. A master’s degree is a plus.

• Experience:
  2-5 years of experience in process engineering or a similar role in manufacturing or production environments. Experience with process design, optimization, and troubleshooting is preferred.

  • Automotive experience is a plus

• Skills:

Knowledge of process control, Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or similar methodologies.

Strong analytical skills and the ability to work with data-driven insights.

Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.

Certifications:
Certifications such as Six Sigma (Green Belt or Black Belt), Lean Manufacturing, or Process Safety Management (PSM) are preferred.

Working Conditions:

• Typically works in a manufacturing facility, laboratory, or office environment.

• May be required to work with hazardous materials or in environments with specific safety protocols.

• Occasional travel may be necessary to work at different plant locations/customer sites
