Key Responsibilities:

Process Optimization:
Analyze and optimize existing processes by identifying bottlenecks, improving process flow, and reducing waste. -
Troubleshooting and Problem Solving:
Identify process issues and develop solutions to resolve technical and operational problems. -
Data Analysis and Reporting:
Collect and analyze process data to evaluate the performance of systems. Use tools like statistical process control (SPC), Six Sigma, or other techniques to monitor key process indicators (KPIs). -
Collaboration:
Work closely with other departments (e.g., R&D, quality control, production, and maintenance) to ensure seamless implementation of process improvements. -
Safety and Compliance:
Ensure that all processes comply with environmental, health, and safety standards. Conduct risk assessments and implement necessary corrective actions. -
Cost Management:
Identify cost-reduction opportunities through process improvements, waste reduction, and efficient use of resources. -
Documentation and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs):
Develop and maintain detailed documentation, SOPs, and technical specifications for processes. -
Project Management:
Lead or participate in process improvement projects, from planning and budgeting to execution and evaluation.
Qualifications:

Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial or a related field. A master’s degree is a plus. -
Experience:
2-5 years of experience in process engineering or a similar role in manufacturing or production environments. Experience with process design, optimization, and troubleshooting is preferred.-
Automotive experience is a plus

Skills:
Knowledge of process control, Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or similar methodologies.
Strong analytical skills and the ability to work with data-driven insights.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
Certifications:
Certifications such as Six Sigma (Green Belt or Black Belt), Lean Manufacturing, or Process Safety Management (PSM) are preferred.
Working Conditions:

Typically works in a manufacturing facility, laboratory, or office environment.

May be required to work with hazardous materials or in environments with specific safety protocols.

Occasional travel may be necessary to work at different plant locations/customer sites
