We are seeking a Process Engineer to develop a knowledge and understanding of products /systems /services, customers and customer needs of business area supported. Conducts feasibility studies, determines manpower and cost estimates, and develops engineering criteria. Performs analyses to develop design options or recommendations for structures, systems and components. Activities lead to new or improved products, processes, systems or methods which have significant impact potential.

Technical Mastery

  • Develops expertise in core technology area.
  • Able to execute routine work in subject matter without guidance.

  • Recognizes key business drivers (i.e. key performance indicators, metrics, OGSM, NPV, MIRR, etc.) and how they link to work plan.
  • Demonstrates understanding of Supply Chain work processes (i.e. maintenance, production scheduling, Capacity, C/D, etc.).
  • Recognizes markets the company operates in and major competitors.
  • Incorporates financial metrics to justify projects (i.e. ROI, etc.).
  • Identifies key decision makers in areas of responsibility.

Decision Quality

  • Considers multiple aspects of a decision or challenge.
  • Develops more detailed alternatives prior to informing of decision.
  • Identifies alternatives and makes recommendations to address issues.
  • Demonstrates ability to make timely, accurate, and effective decisions.

Minimum Qualifications:  

  • Degree or Advanced degree in chemical engineering  
  • 5 years in reaction chemistry 
  • Minimum of 2-years experience leading others
  • Strong leadership, communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills to drive decisions and build consensus among stakeholders
  • Ability to create, clearly articulate and execute on a strategic vision
  • Strong business acumen and experience collaborating with operations
  • Skilled in resolving conflict situations effectively
