Job Description
Overview
As a Senior Quality Engineer, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and enhancing our quality control and assurance systems within the Engineering Department. Your expertise will contribute to ensuring quality excellence, process efficiency, and regulatory compliance.
Responsibilities
- Process Capability and Control: Evaluate and enhance process capability, develop process control plans, and analyze out-of-control conditions. Your goal is to improve process performance and capability.
- Quality Control and Assurance: Oversee and manage quality control and assurance systems specific to our engineering projects. Conduct regular quality audits and inspections.
- Process Optimization: Evaluate existing processes, identify areas for improvement, and implement enhancements tailored to our project requirements. Foster a culture of quality consciousness.
- Risk Management: Develop risk mitigation strategies relevant to our department. Coordinate Project Delivery teams in reviewing the risk register submitted by the Consultants.
- Root Cause Analysis: Investigate quality issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective/preventive actions specific to our project deliverables.
- Quality Metrics and Reporting: Develop and track quality metrics. Prepare reports for project management review.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and internal procedures.
- Problem-Solving and Best Practices: Proactively investigate and implement best-in-class quality practices. Assist in systematic problem-solving methodologies.
- Audits and Management Support: Participate in audits. Support management activities related to Audit Reviews and coordinate the closure of corrective actions.
