Tyvek® is a flash-spun nonwoven fabric with leading market positions in construction, protective apparel, medical packaging and others. The proprietary Tyvek® technology involves a wide variety of engineering disciplines, such as chemical and mechanical engineering, polymer chemistry & processing, polymer solutions, electrostatics, aerodynamics, material science and more. 

DuPont Luxembourg is looking to recruit a Process Engineer f/m/d into its growing organization in order to further strengthen the unique technology position of Tyvek®.

Main responsabilities :

Your main role will be to participate in process and technology developments. As such, you will apply your talents very broadly.

Your work will embrace many aspects, but is not limited to:

  • daily follow-up of production lines
  • technical assistance to operations & maintenance crews
  • improvements on existing manufacturing assets
  • conceptual design and design calculations
  • preparation of project basic data
  • close collaboration with the local engineering department and equipment suppliers
  • process safety

Field of applications can/will evolve over time.

Qualifications:

  • Master’s Degree in Process, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
  • Languages: fluent in German and English, French will be an asset
  • Broad and general interest in technology.
  • Strong interpersonal skills fostering a respectful work environment.
  • High level of self-motivation, work ethics and flexibility
  • Conceptual & data-based analytical thinking, creativity and practical hands-on capabilities are equally important
  • Self-starter and initiative / Interdisciplinary Team work / Capability and willingness to acquire new competencies
