As a Experienced Process Engineer, you will improve production processes to minimize losses, enhance yield, uptime, and efficiency rates. You will use the scientific method and design of experiments approach to identifying opportunities for improvement, implementing solutions, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. You will collaborate with multiple departments on improvement initiatives and support the plant's future state roadmap. Reporting directly to the Process Control Engineer Manager you will have a commitment to safety, environmental stewardship, and compliance with regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Build production processes and eliminate production losses (yield, uptime, or rate) through strategic analysis and implementation of improvement measures.
- Update department procedures to ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Maintain recipe control systems to enhance production efficiency and consistency.
- Advocate for the production department in engineering design reviews, providing insights to improve processes and equipment.
- Lead criticality analysis of equipment in the area to prioritize maintenance and improvement efforts.
- Evaluate and categorize production losses, working with capability leaders to determine and implement solutions.
- Maintain cycle time data in Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) and SAP for accurate performance monitoring and analysis.
- Support strategic initiatives and the plant's future state roadmap by identifying opportunities for improvement and implementing assigned projects.
- Support site Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) goals, participating in corrective actions such as Root Cause Analysis (RCA), Management of Change (MOC), Process Hazard Analysis (PHA), and other EHS elements.
- Ensure all projects follow the Delaware engineering project process to maintain quality and compliance standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
- 2+ years of experience in performance engineering or related roles within manufacturing environments.
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements applicable to manufacturing operations.
- Project management experience, including the ability to plan projects to achieve desired outcomes.
- PSM experience is a plus.
