Your role at Dynatrace
We are looking for a Principal Solution Engineer with a very strong background in applications and infrastructure stacks (full stack architect background) who can collaborate with customers to sell observability and AIOps solutions, driving significant revenue growth. You will deeply understand the customer's IT business strategy, IT applications/operations, and organization, while also formulating sales strategies and proposing how Dynatrace solutions can be beneficial. And, you will lead or assist in demonstrating how Dynatrace solutions can be utilized through Proof of Concept (PoC). And you will drive the customer's CxO as trusted advisor to solve their IT challenge.
Additionally, you will share your knowledge, experience to our APJ team to create strong SE team and customers to lead their DX and IT modanization.
Responsibility
- Together with the Sales team you will be selling the fastest growing Observability/AIOps platform using state-of-the-art sales and marketing techniques.
- You will be responsible for driving and growing Dynatrace business by owning and executing the Technical Sales cycle.
- You will advise and lead customers on how matters related to observability, AIOps, digital experience, business analytics, and log analysis can benefit their IT strategy and operations, as well as how they fit into their overall IT environment/operation process/business etc.
- Throught proposal activities to the CxO level, present Dynatrace's vision and solutions to them and work closely with them to become trusted advisor
- Designing and delivering workshops to the Center of Excellence team, Technical Support team or IT leaders to guide their IT operations strategy, identify issues, and provide solutions
- Reviewing Japanese projects, providing direction, and coaching
- Communicating regularly with APJ and other regional members to share information with the Japan team and provide enablement as needed
- Guiding communications with engineering and support teams, as well as steering customer conversations in the right direction
- Presenting and evangelizing at major events with audiences of over 1,000 participants
What will help you succeed
- 8-10 years as a Solutions Engineer, Implementation Consultant, Solution Architect or Software Developer with experience leading projects and/or working with customers.
- Having worked at a single foreign IT company for over 5 years and having achieved success.
- Experience presenting with over 1,000 attendees with your own created slides.
- Experience in good communication and negotiation with Headquaters and Product Manamenent, Engineering team.
- In the big project management team and have experience in system integration and IT operations at an Systems Integrator company (Preferrred) and consulting experience related to systems or operational and monitoring processes.
- Proposal or presentaion/work closly with a customer CxO, management level as a trusted adviser.
- Experience of organizing projects and coaching, mentering and leading APJ team members.
- Evangelist activities and leading and forming communities in the Japanese market.
- Strong technical background, accountability and sales/customer orientation.
- Extensive experience with Observability, Cloud Infrastructure (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud), Cloud Native Architectures and Kubernetes, Tanzu, OpenShift etc.
- Deep understanding and Hands-on experience working with programming languages including Java, .NET, PHP, Node.js, Golang, Python and web application architecture (NGINX, apache, tomcat) etc.
