About the Team
The Globalization Platform team’s mission is to own and evolve the language experience of Workday products and peripheral content. Our ambition is to provide a fit-for-purpose language experience to our customers by partnering with internal teams through innovative and emerging technology capabilities.

About the Role
You will be a technology leader, designing and developing the future platforms for Workday to achieve our language experience strategies. You will lead by example, demonstrating architecture and product development best practices, while mentoring and empowering your fellow team members to achieve success. You will utilise your diverse set of skills, combining deep technical expertise with strong leadership and communication abilities to solve complex problems and deliver innovative solutions.
About You
Basic Qualifications:

12+ years software development experience
-
Bachelor’s (Master’s or higher preferred) degree in engineering, computer science or equivalent
-
Expertise designing and developing solutions in Object Oriented (OO) languages like Java, C# or similar.
-
Expertise designing and developing solutions in Python.
-
Expert understanding of common architecture patterns and best practices.
-
Experience developing secure, highly scalable SaaS applications and services.
Other Qualifications:
-
Experience working with Lean / Agile methodologies
-
Python libraries like boto3, numPy, pyTorch, pandas
-
l10n, i18n or g11n experience
-
MT, TM, LLM or other AI related experience
-
Experience utlising public clouds like AWS or GCP.
