About the Role:

Remitly's platform products team is looking for a software developer focused product leader to lead the tech vision to win in the ever changing cross border financial services industry. You will lead the Developer Experience product for our organization, allowing internal teams to build with velocity and efficiency. We are looking for a product leader with demonstrated expertise in leading platforms, using qualitative and quantitative data to inform products that delight both partners and consumers. You will be the right fit if you can work in a fast paced environment with various stakeholders and prioritize their needs using data and ROI. You will report to the VP of Product and will collaborate with a large engineering team to achieve your roadmap and goals. The job is an individual contributor role.

This position is onsite and based in Seattle, WA. #LI-Onsite

You Will:

  • Understand the needs of developers, partners and end consumers. Apply this understanding to guide product design, roadmap and lead prioritization across multiple stakeholders.
  • Define and prioritize features, user stories, and requirements based on market research, customer feedback, and business goals
  • Collaborate with and influence various teams across Remitly to further extend Remitly's platform capabilities
  • Define clear success metrics for various developer tools by while working with the stakeholders and considering short/long term goals
  • Foster a collaborative and innovative culture within the team, encouraging idea generation and problem-solving to consistently improve the developer platforms

You Have:

  • 8+ years of Product Management experience
  • Deep understanding of developer experience and/or productivity
  • Understanding of the software development lifecycle, tooling and patterns
  • Strong track record of successfully delivering and scaling platform products along with understanding of building seamless developer tools and processes.
  • You are not only able to shape a high-level strategic initiative, but can also sweat the details and drive results.
  • You can sweat the details to understand the impacts of tough technical tradeoffs and find a careful balance between short-term outcomes and long-term impact
  • You can make decisions the absence of complete data and are not hindered by ambiguity or competing priorities.

Compensation Details. The starting base salary range for this position is typically $168,00-$210,000. In the U.S., Remitly employees are shareholders in our Company and equity is part of our total compensation plan.
