With a focus on leveraging Microsoft technologies, this role ensures the delivery of secure, scalable, and high-performing systems to streamline billing, coding, claims management, and payment processes. Expertise in containerization tools such as Docker and Kubernetes is critical for modernizing infrastructure and ensuring seamless deployment. The engineer will collaborate across teams to deliver innovative, regulatory-compliant solutions that address the complex challenges of healthcare and pharmacy RCM.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Technical Leadership:

    • Serve as a technical leader and architect for building advanced RCM systems using Microsoft technologies such as .NET, Azure, and SQL Server.

    • Optimize CI/CD pipelines for automated builds, testing, and deployments in Azure environments.

    • Ensure system resilience, scalability, and high availability through best practices in cloud infrastructure design and containerized environments.

  • Compliance & Security:

    • Ensure all software solutions comply with healthcare regulations such as HIPAA, ICD-10, and CPT, with a strong emphasis on secure data handling and storage.

    • Integrate security measures into the software development lifecycle to protect sensitive patient and financial data.

    • Partner with compliance teams to address payer-specific requirements and ensure adherence to regulatory standards.

  • Performance & Innovation:

    • Monitor system performance and reliability, continuously identifying areas for optimization and improvement.

    • Explore and implement AI/ML capabilities for predictive billing, denial management, and claims analytics.

    • Stay ahead of emerging trends in Microsoft technologies, cloud platforms, and containerization to maintain a competitive edge in RCM software development.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. A Master’s degree is preferred.

  • 10+ years of experience in software engineering, with at least 5 years in healthcare revenue cycle management or related domains.

  • Expertise in containerization and orchestration tools, including Docker and Kubernetes, for managing scalable and portable deployments.

  • Strong knowledge of RCM workflows, including billing, coding, claims submission, payment processing, and denial management.

  • Proven experience integrating with EHR, PMS, and pharmacy management systems.

Preferred Skills:

  • Familiarity with DevOps tools and practices, including Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or Jenkins.

  • Experience with AI/ML technologies for enhancing RCM processes.

  • Knowledge of payer-provider ecosystems, including Medicare, Medicaid, and private insurance workflows.
