This position is based at our on-site Tech Hub in Charlotte, North Carolina. Lowe's Tech Hub is an ultramodern work environment, complete with cutting-edge technology, collaborative workspaces, an on-site barista and Zen Garden, and other perks to enhance your work experience.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead and develop high-performing global teams in designing, implementing, and maintaining enterprise infrastructure systems across multiple technical domains and platforms.
• Drive the translation of business requirements into sustainable infrastructure solutions while ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture and business strategies.
• Provide strategic direction for long-term infrastructure planning, including technology selection, resource allocation, and budget management across multiple domains.
• Build and maintain executive partnerships to understand business needs, while serving as an escalation point for complex technical challenges.
• Oversee system health, performance, and risk management across domains, ensuring operational excellence and continuous improvement of infrastructure services.
• Create and execute strategic initiatives that advance the organization's technology capabilities, including vendor partnerships, team development, and process optimization.
Minimum Qualifications
• 10 years of IT experience in software engineering or related field• 10 years of experience working on project(s) involving the implementation of solutions applying development life cycles (SDLC)• 5 years of experience leading global technology teams with direct team leadership• 3 years of experience working closely with senior leadership• 3 years of experience managing operational and/or financial budgets, including the managing of third-party vendors and/or software providers• Bachelor's degree in business administration, computer science, computer information systems (CIS), engineering, or related field (or equivalent work experience in lieu of degree)
Preferred Qualifications
• 2+ years of experience working with ML/AI/GenAI infrastructure technologies, including GPU and vGPU acceleration, high-speed storage and networking protocols such as NVMe/TCP and RDMA, and workload scheduling/orchestration tools like SLURM. Experience with Kubernetes-based AI workloads, multi-node distributed training, and optimizing AI/ML pipelines for high-performance computing environments is a plus.
