We are actively seeking a Principal Solution Architect, Data & AI. This is a remote position and can be based anywhere is the U.S. The role may require periodic travel as necessary across the world.

Position Summary 

As part of our Rimini Consult group, the Principal Solution Architect, Data & AI, will be responsible for designing and delivering customized solutions to meet the unique needs of our clients. You will work closely with clients, sales teams, and internal technical teams to understand client requirements, propose tailored solutions, and ensure successful implementation.

The role also encompasses providing thought leadership around functional strategy, including overseeing complex project implementations, Product Roadmap Analyses, reviewing and analyzing current system functionality, and have demonstrated a strong ability to analyze and provide guidance to support strategic objectives. He/she will demonstrate professional written and oral communication skills, deep analytical skills, deep functional expertise, solution orientation, strategic thinking, the ability to establish rapport at all levels within the organization, and the ability to drive consensus.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Collaborate with business and technical teams to understand challenges and identify opportunities to apply data and AI solutions
• Design scalable, flexible enterprise architectures and technology roadmaps for data and AI platforms
• Lead solution design activities including gathering requirements, prototyping, and supporting implementation planning
• Develop frameworks, policies, best practices, and governance models for data & AI lifecycle management
• Conduct technology evaluations and provide recommendations on tools and infrastructure for data pipelines, ML Ops, analytics, etc.
• Promote and educate stakeholders on capabilities, limitations, and responsible use of data science and AI
• Monitor technological advancements to identify emerging solutions for data and AI initiatives

Education

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree, preferably in Computer Sciences and/or Information Technology or related field (Master’s Degree preferred)

Location

• This is a remote position and can be based anywhere in the US.

Desired Experience

• 10+ years’ experience in enterprise architecture and design.
• 10+ years’ experience in the one or more soluitons like Databricks, Snowflake, Redshift, Cloudera, Tableau, PowerBI.
• 5+ years’ experience in one or more solutions like Tensorflow, PyTorch, Codex, LLMs training.
• 10+ years’ experience in Consulting, Pre-Sales & Solution Engineering

Desired Skills

• Hands-on experience architecting data analytics, AI, and machine learning solutions
• Deep knowledge of relevant frameworks and technologies like Hadoop, Spark, TensorFlow etc.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills
• Strong strategic and creative problem-solving abilities
• Passion for keeping up with innovations in the data/AI space
• Experience with pre-sales activities including demoing solutions, responding to RFPs, and technical capability workshops
• Ability to translate complex architecture into compelling presentations and solution designs
• Comfort with public speaking and presenting to both technical and non-technical audiences

Rimini’s target pay for each position is available upon request during the applicant’s Interview process.

The general salary range for this type of role is 140k - 177k depending on skills and experience.
