At a Glance:
The Computer Vision Developer is a member of the Computer Vision Technology team responsible for designing novel sensor systems, developing object detection and image processing algorithms using traditional and deep learning techniques, and developing practical tools and automated process workflows for working with custom machine learning training data sets.

Responsible for working with all key stakeholders to create and implement computer vision products that deliver value to H&P and our customer

Responsible for working with external technology partners, including evaluating, assisting and testing outside applications.

Lead projects involving deep learning and image analysis

Use 3D computer graphic and algorithms to enable computer vision to analyze 3D images

Integrate embedded platforms unto a deep neural network design
-
Design intuitive systems capable of learning and improving
-
Utilize computer vision and deep learning to increase intelligence and produce actionable data
-
Work with robot guidance, IoT applications, and security vulnerabilities in computer vision and AI
-
Execute product planning and development integrating customer goals and business requirements for product release, ensuring implementation is aligned with product goals and requirements, and ownership of product positioning.

Lead development of computer vision products and integrations including monitoring and responding to customer feedback, continuous improvement and business growth
What you need:
-
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Information Systems or related field or equivalent experience required
-
5+ years experience in System Design
-
3+ years experience in Python and Pytorch
-
Experience mentoring teams and leading Technical Projects.
-
Previous experience with Computer Vision and Machine Learning
-
Knowledge of professional software engineering practices & best practices for the full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, agile development, and operations

Working knowledge of deep learning, machine learning and statistics
-
Understanding of compression algorithms (i.e., MPEG)
-
Understanding of mechanical design impact
-
Excellent written and oral communication skills with the ability to present and communicate effectively with all levels of management and customers
-
Superior analytical and quantitative skills; experience in data collection, model building, testing and validation
-
Experience translating customer needs into innovative and detailed product requirements for customer-facing online and mobile products/services
-
Experience working with customers, technical teams, and management to collect requirements, describe software product features, and technical designs
-
Exceptional attention to detail, organizational, and project management skills
-
Must have shipped a customer- or developer-facing product or service
Not a must, but a plus:

Master’s Degree or PhD in computer science, related math or technical field preferred
