As a Controls Engineer, you'll lead projects from design to implementation, developing cutting-edge manufacturing equipment, processes, and tooling. You'll create innovative solutions to meet customer needs, drive project success, and continuously improve processes by identifying cost-saving and productivity opportunities. In addition, you'll provide leadership and support to a dynamic team of engineers and professionals.
What You Will Do
- Lead Engineering Projects: Drive complex manufacturing projects, applying advanced principles to achieve impactful results.
- Technical Planning: Conduct in-depth technical investigations, prioritizing project aspects, developing test plans, and owning results.
- Project Management: Oversee all phases of large-scale projects, ensuring on-time, on-budget delivery with detailed feasibility studies and cost estimates.
- Clear Communication: Document and communicate project progress and results effectively.
- Problem Solving: Resolve complex issues, implementing improvements and conducting feasibility studies for optimized processes.
- Design & Process Enhancements: Implement design and process changes to meet standards and overcome technical challenges.
- Stakeholder Guidance: Deliver technical presentations and recommendations to internal and external stakeholders.
- Innovation: Research new practices to improve manufacturing operations and achieve business goals.
What You Will Bring
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Electronics/Electrical Engineering.
- Experience: 8 years in a manufacturing setting, including experience in the following areas:
- Implementation of automation control systems (PLCs, HMIs, Servos, Safety Controls, Vision Systems).
- Vision system with Cognex and Keyence products.
- Allen Bradley control system environment.
- Development and programming of robotic assembly/material handling cells.
- Expertise: Ability to design automation control systems along with associated project documentation/drawings. Familiarity with industrial control network with electrical and controls engineering expertise in support of new and existing equipment.

Compensation: The expected annual base salary range for this role is $95,000 - $120,000. Please note the salary information shown above is a general guideline only. Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
