The Principal Consultant, ERP Services will have the following responsibilities, which include but are not limited to:

§ Lead projects with a goal of delivering on time, on budget, and with positive and measurable outcomes; complete workflow design, system configuration, testing, data migration, validation, support, and issue resolution

§ Monitor overarching project health; identify, mitigate, or escalate issues as needed which includes the ability to manage and adhere to project scope

§ Develop and maintain a detailed project plan, communication plan, and risk/decision trackers

§ Create comprehensive project deliverables and consistent communication across the project team

§ Provide excellent, professional client service, tailoring consulting approach to the type of engagement and aligning services with the goals of the company.

§ Present and facilitate meetings with manager and executive-level stakeholders.

§ Manage meetings and training effectively, including preparing agendas and goals, taking notes, and ability to drive deliverables and remove project obstacles.

§ Produce regular status reports; perform project close, lessons learned, and knowledge transfer

§ Coach and mentor team, resolve conflicts, maintain positive team morale, and deliver direct and timely feedback based on project work and performance

§ Share lessons learned and best practices with the ERP team and help improve our solutions, tools, and recommendations based on learnings

§ Serve as lead advisor or project management consultant resource for client opportunities

§ Work on projects that may be assigned on an ad hoc basis and may assist other corporate initiatives as necessary, directed, assigned, or requested

§ Attend conferences and client presentations with Nordic leaders

§ Must demonstrate and embody Nordic’s maxims

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

§ Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required

§ 8 years of professional experience required; professional services or consulting experience is strongly preferred

§ Demonstrated ability to articulate opportunities for clients to take advantage of additional tools and ancillary products to support business needs.

§ Certification or experience in at least one complete product ERP suite and/or experience in development, system administration, security administration or system configuration strongly preferred.

§ Prior experience implementing, training, or supporting enterprise resource planning software

§ Excellent communication skills, written and verbal

§ Able to balance urgent, short-term needs with strategic, long-term priorities

§ Exhibits strength in relating to people, including the ability to deliver feedback and inspire and motivate others to succeed

§ Exhibits business acumen, including a basic understanding of financial metrics and how to lead a team in alignment with organizational goals

§ Ability to manage multiple priorities and clients while meeting customer service commitments and project timelines

§ Proven ability to work effectively with all levels of an organization, as well as with diverse candidates, consultants, and client bases

§ Ability to adapt quickly to changes in the work environment and alters approach or method to successfully lead change; reacts well under pressure

§ Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, computers, email, correspondence, and spreadsheets

§ Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently and in a team environment.
