Job Summary
The Principal Change Management Consultant will be responsible for executing a portfolio of complex initiatives or a transformational program to support achievement of strategic business objectives. Incumbents have experience maintaining effective relationships across the business to position the value of change management. Considered a subject matter expert in the field of change management.

Defines and establishes CM portfolios and programs

Leads and manages resources across programs of work, prioritizing solution integration and people-focused efforts and resources across a wide portfolio of initiatives or across enterprise-level transformation programs

Builds business cases for change, incorporating change impact assessments and risks as appropriate and demonstrates how CM drives adoption, mitigates risks and impacts ROI

Recognizes, analyzes and describes change impacts and change collisions

Is trusted advisor to executives and sponsors and seen as CM and solution integration SME

Augments CM methodology with innovative/creative approaches to solve specific change challenges, effectively applying CM methods across multiple organizational initiatives and projects

Solves unique and complex problems that have a broad impact on the company at senior levels

Basic/Required

Bachelors

Minimum of 8 years Required Related Experience

In lieu of Bachelors degree(s) AND 8 year(s) related work experience listed above, High School/GED AND 12 year(s) related work experience

Previous supervisory or management experience

Experience in developing, managing and negotiating rates and contracts with vendors and working with supply chain organizations to effect contracts
Working Conditions

Hybrid Mobility Classification – Work will be performed from both remote and onsite locations after the onboarding period. However, hybrid employees should live within a reasonable daily commute to a Duke Energy facility.
