What We'll Bring:
We are looking to bring in an architect to come in a step in to drive and maintain the overall strategy for all endpoint security solutions. While we did not have an architect, we lost leadership and staffing who used to own and drive overall engineering and operations.
What You'll Bring:
We are seeking an experienced Endpoint Security Architect to strategically design, implement, and manage endpoint security solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cybersecurity, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to meet stringent security and regulatory requirements. This role is pivotal in driving and maintaining the overall strategy for endpoint security solutions, ensuring continuous improvement and alignment with organizational goals.

Responsibilities:
- Lead the adoption of emerging trends and best practices in endpoint security to align our endpoint security strategy with the latest developments.
- Design, implement, and manage endpoint security solutions to protect against cyber threats.
- Develop and maintain security policies, procedures, and standards for endpoint devices.
- Drive continuous improvement in endpoint security operations, policies, and procedures, including incident response and vulnerability management.
- Work with IT and security teams to seamlessly integrate endpoint security measures into the overall security architecture.
- Provide guidance and training to staff on endpoint security best practices.
- Ensure compliance with relevant security regulations and standards.
- Lead the evaluation and selection of endpoint security tools and technologies.
- Develop and implement incident response plans specific to endpoint security.
- Perform root cause analysis on security incidents and provide recommendations for remediation.
- Liaise with third-party vendors and service providers to strengthen endpoint security measures.
- Participate in security audits and assessments, providing detailed reports and action plans.
- Advise on the secure configuration and deployment of endpoint devices across the organization.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in fields of Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
- Over 10 years of experience in endpoint security, including EDR, threat intelligence, and incident response, with a minimum of 5 years in a leadership role.
- Strong knowledge of endpoint security technologies such as antivirus, EDR, and DLP.
- Experience with security frameworks and standards (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001).
- Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, PowerShell) for automation.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CEH, CompTIA Security+) are a plus.
- Extensive technical expertise in endpoint security, with proficiency in EDR tools and technologies such as Splunk, Tanium, Carbon Black, SentinelOne, or CrowdStrike.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical information to non-technical stakeholders
- Strong analytical skills to analyze and interpret security logs, system logs, and other security-related data
- Experience engaging with stakeholders throughout the enterprise, including security analysts, IT teams, business leaders, and customers
Skills:
- In-depth understanding of endpoint security principles and practices.
- Familiarity with network security, cloud security, and identity and access management.
- Ability to design and implement security solutions that align with business objectives.
- Knowledge of threat modeling and risk assessment techniques.
- Proficiency in using security tools and technologies for monitoring and incident response.

- Continuous learning: Commitment to staying current with the latest security trends and technologies.

This is a hybrid position and involves regular performance of job responsibilities virtually as well as in-person at an assigned TU office location for a minimum of two days a week.

Pay Scale Information :
The U.S. base salary range for this position is $168,750.00 - $281,250 annually. *The salary range for this position reflects a reasonable estimate of the range of compensation for this job. At TransUnion, actual compensation is based on careful consideration of additional factors such as (but not limited to) an individual’s education, training, work experience, job-related skill set, location, and industry knowledge, as well as the scope and responsibilities of the position and market considerations.
Regular, fulltime non-sales positions may be eligible to participate in TransUnion’s annual bonus plan. Certain positions may be also eligible for long-term incentives and other payments based on applicable company guidance and plan documents.
