Job Summary

Under general supervision, the Pricing Execution Analyst is responsible for supporting the retail and commercial success of the Interstate All Battery Center stores and sales teams through strategic analysis, execution, and communication of retail and B2B pricing strategies. Additionally, the Pricing Execution Analyst provides key metric reporting, paring analysis, and supports process improvements.

Key Responsibilities

• Accurately calculate pricing direction, lead implementation and maintain accurate pricing analysis and execution, while meeting critical deadlines.
• Analyze sales data and make suggestions for product pricing strategies to maximize gross profit margins in both retail and commercial sales channels
• Collaborate across departments to solve internal and external customer issues, and answer pricing related inquiries from business partners.
• Utilize business intelligence tools and other market inputs to analyze pricing and sales data. May be asked to create ad hoc reporting for internal partners using PowerBI and other analytics tools.
• May act as a team or project leader to identify and develop process improvements, including formalization and documentation of processes, and training team members.
• Supports managers and other stakeholders on pricing strategies and programs.
• Other projects and responsibilities may be added at the manager’s discretion.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college/university in Business or related analytical Accounting or Finance discipline
• 3+ years in business or financial analyst role
• Ability to thrive in a processes-oriented environment and capable of managing and prioritizing multiple tasks
• Strong analytical skills and able to perform complex pricing and profitability calculations. 
• Ability to understand and extract findings from complex data structures within pricing programs.
• Pragmatic and levelheaded, even in times of disagreement and debate – collaborative approach
• Extremely proficient in the utilization of MS products (Excel, Word, PPT, and Outlook)
• Experience with SAP strongly preferred
• Experience with PowerBI preferred
• Prior Retail or Commercial products background helpful
• Well organized, sense of urgency, able to juggle multiple projects and accustomed to tight deadlines

Scope Data

• Responsible for the understanding of business concepts, completion of time-sensitive documents and reports, and the effective communication of findings to the Customer Segments. 

Work Environment

• Ability to sustain posture in a seated position for prolonged periods of time
• Regularly required to use hands to grasp or handle, talk and hear, stand and walk
• Specific vision abilities include close vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus
• Ability to occasionally lift and/or move 20+ lbs
• Prolonged use of personal computer & telephone
• Limited to no travel
