Essential Functions
- Subject Matter Expert in the following areas: Wrapper/Pack-out/Advanced Machine Adjustments and Bolster Bolt/Stacker/Lane and Paper feed Adjustments
- Ability to train intermediate employees on detailed equipment issues and troubleshooting
- Facilitate roll changes and product change overs
- Back-up group lead when needed
- Complete preventative maintenance work orders assigned during nights and weekends
- This is not a “standby for calls” position, but rather one where the employee is expected to stay busy throughout the shift.
- Follow and adhere to all Job Safety and Standard Operation policies and procedures.
- Adhere to all policies and procedures.
- Maintain general requirements for attendance, productivity, quality and team relations.
- Maintain quality and production records.
- Assist in problem solving.
- Operate pressware machine and all associated packout equipment.
- Perform material handling functions as needed.
- Perform other tasks as assigned.
Job Qualifications
Required
- Possess and demonstrate leadership skills for Back Up Group leader.
- Physically capable of moderate to heavy effort of frequently lifting or moving lightweight materials of over 5lbs and up to 35lbs, 70% of the time.
- Physically capable of standing and walking over 50% of working time.
- Continuous mental and visual attention performing diversified operations or activities requiring constant alertness or activity.
- Work a rotating work schedule which consists of 12 hours per day - 42 hours per week.
- Wear PPE as required.
Preferred
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
