Freese and Nichols is searching for an PR/Communications Specialist in our Fort Worth, TX office. As PR/Communications Specialist you will create internal and external communications, manage projects, and develop targeted public relations campaigns.

  • Writes feature articles about projects, people and technical topics
  • Reports Freese and Nichols news, finding newsworthy stories and presenting them in a strategic way
  • Conducts research using internal and external resources
  • Interviews technical staff, corporate leaders, and clients
  • Manages digital platforms such as intranet, website and social media
  • Works with subject matter experts to produce thought leadership articles on technical topics 
  • Becomes communications expert to technical staff and corporate leadership
  • Edits and proofreads content in accordance with style guide
  • Designs layout of print or digital materials
  • Contributes to other areas of marketing and sales when needed
  • Exercises judgment about communications messaging, strategies and tactics
  • Learns the Freese and Nichols strategic plan and our sales and recruitment processes
  • Tracks statistical data and contributes to reports
  • Identifies areas and processes for improvement or efficiency

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of communications experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, journalism or other related discipline.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in the A/E/C industry is preferred
