Freese and Nichols is searching for an PR/Communications Specialist in our Fort Worth, TX office. As PR/Communications Specialist you will create internal and external communications, manage projects, and develop targeted public relations campaigns.
- Writes feature articles about projects, people and technical topics
- Reports Freese and Nichols news, finding newsworthy stories and presenting them in a strategic way
- Conducts research using internal and external resources
- Interviews technical staff, corporate leaders, and clients
- Manages digital platforms such as intranet, website and social media
- Works with subject matter experts to produce thought leadership articles on technical topics
- Becomes communications expert to technical staff and corporate leadership
- Edits and proofreads content in accordance with style guide
- Designs layout of print or digital materials
- Contributes to other areas of marketing and sales when needed
- Exercises judgment about communications messaging, strategies and tactics
- Learns the Freese and Nichols strategic plan and our sales and recruitment processes
- Tracks statistical data and contributes to reports
- Identifies areas and processes for improvement or efficiency

Qualifications
- 3+ years of communications experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, journalism or other related discipline.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in the A/E/C industry is preferred
