Power Platform Analyst

HMT has an exciting and challenging opportunity for a Power Platform Analyst to join our team. This role will be focused on building out the next generation of analytics and engagement as we improve our data environment.

You will have opportunities to learn new technologies like MS Fabric as well as solutioning key business needs with the Power Platform. You will be joining a team of knowledgeable IT professionals in a growing business.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, design, and maintain Power BI reports and dashboards.

• Perform data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and insights.

• Create and manage data models to support reporting and analytics needs.

• Develop and maintain semantic layers to ensure data consistency and accuracy.

• Create and manage Power Apps and Pages in our environment.

• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.

• Optimize Power Platform solutions for performance and scalability.

• Provide training and support to end-users on Power Platform tools and functionalities.

• Collaborate with a team to build visualizations and engagement using PowerBI, Power Apps, Power Automate and Power Pages

• Drive utilization of functionality to improve ROI – ability to notice a gap and propose change for the better.

• Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices in Microsoft Data and Analytics and the Power Platform.

• Demonstrate behaviors consistent with HMT's policies, values, code of ethics and business conduct.

• Other responsibilities as assigned.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelors degree or equivalent work experience (Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field of study).

• Minimum of 3 years of experience with Power BI and Data Models.

• Proven experience in Data Analytics, Data Modeling, and Semantic Layer Development.

• Strong proficiency in Power BI and related tools.

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Power Apps, Power Automate and Power Pages.

• Proficiency in Python and PowerShell Scripting.

• Knowledge of Business Process Analytics.
