POSITION SUMMARY
Accountable for increasing rental and sales of natural gas, propane, BESS and diesel-powered power generation projects, ranging from 25kW to over 100mW, along with associated equipment and services, within the oil and gas industry in a specified territory

  • Develop and implement sales strategies to drive revenue growth for our power generation and microgrid solutions, leveraging new and existing relationships with technical solution sales including but not limited to equipment, resiliency, energy management, emissions and energy market participation.
  • Identify and pursue new generation and power project opportunities across throughout the Oil & Gas and Midstream space throughout oilfield markets with a specific focus on Texas and the greater Permian Basin area.
  • Conduct efficient, thorough market and target research as well as competitor analysis to develop a deep understanding of market pricing, customer needs, market dynamics, and industry trends within the ERCOT market and surrounding areas.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including Oil & Gas Operators, midstream companies, service companies, developers, and other potential users.
  • Understand and effectively communicate the Company’s various value propositions and bundling opportunities by customer and project type to capture maximum customer spend and offer the most thorough solutions possible.
  • Understand the design and operation of natural gas and diesel generation projects including microgrids, providing guidance, knowledge and technical insights to customers throughout the sales process.
  • Collaborate with internal cross-functional teams, including leadership, engineering, finance, project management, and marketing, to ensure the alignment of sales strategies with overall business objectives.
  • Stay abreast of policy changes in the electric markets in the United States, with familiarity in the ERCOT region, understanding market structures, regulations, and key players.
  • Proposal preparation: preparing and presenting detailed proposals and quotations to potential clients, including cost estimates and project timelines.
  • Coordinate the negotiation of contracts and pricing agreements, ensuring mutually beneficial terms for both the company and customers.
  • Provide timely and accurate sales forecasts, reports, and updates to senior management, highlighting key sales metrics, opportunities, and challenges within the assigned territory.
  • A daily focus on researching, building and reaching new target list of potential clients to maintain a sufficient pipeline of deals to meet and exceed objectives.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensuring all sales activities comply with industry regulations and company policies
  • Budget management: managing budgets for sales activities and ensuring cost effective use of resources.


The skills/experience you'll need to be considered for this role:

  • A minimum of a 4-year technical degree in a relevant field.
  • Minimum 2-4 years of experience in the oil and gas industry, particularly in sales or business development roles related to power generation equipment.
  • Strong understanding of natural gas, propane, and diesel-powered power generation systems, including their operation and deal components.
  • Strong track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
  • Understanding of the value of electrical power generation and resiliency for various customer use cases within the oil and gas sector, including but not limited to drilling, completions, production, construction and midstream.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage and build relationships with diverse stakeholders at all levels.
  • Proactive and results-oriented, with a proven ability to meet and exceed sales targets.
  • Exceptional problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify customer needs and propose tailored solutions and value propositions.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently, while also thriving in a collaborative team environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft excel, word, PowerPoint and CRM platforms.
